Polaroid SX-70 Sonar Autofocus Black with Chrome Folding Instant Film Camera

While many SX-70 users enjoy manually focusing their cameras, the autofocus models are nothing short of magical to use. The autofocus mechanism (that big gold circle) uses actual sonar waves to focus on the subject matter, helping you get crips photos each time. For a more hands-on approach, the autofocus can be shut off.  The autofocus models also feature the tripod mount and strap lugs found on Alpha models, making them the most versatile and decked-out SX-70 option.

This camera has an unusual cosmetic configuration that introduces chrome into the otherwise all-black model. This configuration was used by Polaroid occasionally in the 80s. The chrome appears on the shutter cover and viewfinder top cover.
